Explore 4 domains of digital learning (Instruction, Operation, Wellness, Creativity) as digital literacy competencies to design instruction, demonstrate learning, and assess understanding. Explore the Design forn Digital Literacy (DDL) Framework, a structured approach for educators to advance digital literacy through a competency-based model. Move beyond tech-integration and shift from talking about products to elevating practice through intentional focus on these 4 competencies. This session will promote authentic opportunities to capture student voice, make thinking visible, build student agency, and reimagine post-pandemic student publishing, digital literacy and leadership.

Bring Coding and Computational Thinking into the elementary classroom. Explore hands-on opportunities for computational thinking and early programming using apps and robots, as well as offline activities fostering problem-solving skills and engineering. Effective leadership and change can't happen on its own.  This Princess Bride themed session looks at characteristics of effective leadership, explores ways to collaborate with change agents, and traces the "courage of service" to examine staff development and student learning.  Discover and share effective practices for collaboration, resources for instructors and administrators, and proven tools for amplifying student voices and demonstrating learning.  Through the lens of coaching, leading, and a hero's journey, consider an action-adventure approach to personalizing teaching learning.

Activate learning and leverage innovative technology to create Digital Climate Change- the culture and space to spark engagement and empower learning. Explore resources, best practices, and 25 years of classroom experience to support technology integration and instructional design for the elementary general ed classroom, not in isolation or “tech time.”  Participants will evaluate learning environments and instructional practices for implementation of transformational technology thinking immediately.

Adapt and adopt a Digital Learning Badge program for your classroom, school, or district.  Bring ISTE and Common Sense aligned Digital Learning Standards to life in your setting or adapt the badging platform to fit any criteria and content area across the curriculum to empower students to reflect and archive their own learning in an engaging digital-passbook  portfolio project that is meaningful, memorable and measurable. Participants will transfer their own learning objectives to create a platform that identifies and aligns criteria, curates student-creation and demonstrates student-learning.
